After two terms of doing my undergraduate thesis in AB Psychology on LGBT and conversion therapy, I am officially back to blogging! It’s sad when I saw that I’ve only read 20 books so far (compared to the 100 books I’ve read every year before), so I’m trying to catch up with that as well.
I also made some changes on the design of the blog in terms of the blog header and the graphics I use for each post. What do you guys think about the changed I made?
(The old Header)(New header and blog graphics)
Finally, I shifted from Blogger to WordPress! What do you guys think? I’m now http://www.divergentgryffindorblog.wordpress.com instead of http://www.divergentgryffindor.blogspot.com, yay!
What book should I read first, though?
Thank you, Netgalley and Edelweiss for these!
Thank you, Macmillan Audio for these audiobooks!
Thank you, JM and PRH Global for making me a part of the blog tour!
Bought from the Manila International Book Fair at a much discounted price!
- Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton ★★★★ – Get a glimpse of what it’s like to be in the head of someone with schizophrenia.
- The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi ★★ – Not really worth the hype, in my opinion.
- They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera ★★★★★ – Please enlighten yourselves and read this perfect novel by Adam Silvera!
- A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas ★★★★★ – Every bit as explosive as I expected, and still managed to top my expectations to garner 5 stars!
- Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows ★★★ – I found myself disliking how much the girl pitied herself, and how the emphasis was on the physical appearance
- Ruined by Amy Tintera ★★★★ – I was so surprised at how amazing this is, and it looks like I have another series to look forward to.
- Hunted by Meagan Spooner ★★★★ – Beauty and the Beast was never retold with this much emotion before, featuring a headstrong Belle who actually uses her brain. Must-read!
- Top Ten by Katie Cotugno ★★★ – Started out annoying but ended just okay. Kinda meh.
I love the graphics changes. I hope you have a great October and get lots of reading done!

Your new header is really pretty! I’m oddly curious about Batman Nightwalker, so I hope you enjoy reading it 🙂 Personally, I’d vote for Godsgrave or Wonder Woman as the first book of the pile to read.
Happy reading in October ❤

I’ve thought before about switching from blogspot to wordpress, but I was worried it would be a)horribly difficult and b)I would lose my old posts and comments. How was it for you switching platforms?

It’s easy with transferring posts and comments, but I wasn’t able to transfer views of course, so it’s kind of like starting back with 0. My wordpress followers was 0, whereas my GFC was already at 460 and those were gone as well. 😦

I LOVE it, Kim! The blog and header and EVERYTHING looks fantastic!! I just saw Last Star Burning today. It looks pretty intriguing (and I don’t know how it snuck by me). Busted is on my TBR–it looks like a fun one. Happy reading!

I love your graphics! I’ve been thinking about changing up the graphics on my blog as well (and I kind of hate you for your graphics because they’re exactly the sort of graphics I’ve been wanting to use. I wish I’d found them first! LOL.)
I’ve got a copy of Girls Made of Snow and Glass that I need to read, eventually. I’ll find time at some point I’m sure.
Have a great week.

Ooo, I got Busted for review from NetGalley as well and finished it last week. I don’t read a lot of contemporary so personally I don’t have a lot to go on, but I enjoyed it well enough. Would be interested in your thoughts!

I gave it four. I don’t read a lot of contemporary right now so I don’t have a lot of compare it too, but I thought it was interesting and pretty well written. 🙂
